On February 28th, local time in Indonesia, Huayou Cobalt's Huaneng New Materials (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. successfully held the mechanical completion ceremony for its '50,000 tons/year high-nickel power battery ternary precursor material project' Phase II at the Weda Bay Industrial Park. This accomplishment signifies the full construction of the first new energy lithium battery ternary material industry chain invested by Huayou in Indonesia, including both Phase I and Phase II projects. It marks a significant step forward in international manufacturing for Huayou products! The business layout of overseas resources, international manufacturing, and the global market has achieved another major breakthrough.

The main structure of the Huaneng project was completed on October 18th, 2024, and the first batch of products rolled off the production line on November 17th of the same year. After achieving this phased victory, the Huaneng project team did not slack off but continued to overcome difficulties and forge ahead. With only a three-month construction period, over a thousand Chinese and Indonesian builders once again accomplished the extreme challenge from the completion of Phase II’s main structure to mechanical completion. During the main structure completion, nearly a thousand pieces of equipment of various sizes, more than 3,000 instruments, over 40,000 meters of pipelines, and close to one million meters of cables were installed. Compared to similar projects, Huaneng best exemplified what is known as 'Huayou Speed.' Meanwhile, Phase I operations are developing efficiently with four standardized certification production lines achieving a total monthly capacity of 1,140 tons, supplying 600 tons per month, showing a trend of fluctuating monthly growth, and making good progress overall!

The high-standard delivery of Phase II reflects the wisdom and hard work of the project team, demonstrating Huayou people's spirit of 'Constantly Striving to Become Stronger and Pursuing Excellence.'
