In April 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Huayou Indonesia 50,000-ton precursor project was held, marking the beginning of the construction of Huayou's first overseas ternary precursor factory. In October of the same year, the main structure of Phase I was completed and put into feedstock, with products coming off the line by November. By February 28, 2025, Phase II was fully completed, and in early March, the first batch of qualified products from Phase II was successfully produced. Within just 11 months, two phases of the project were consecutively put into operation, setting a new record for the speed of construction of Chinese lithium battery material enterprises overseas.
