In September, Huayou's Pomalaa Industrial Park (IPIP) in Indonesia was officially awarded the title of "Indonesia's Important Industrial Project (OVNI)"—marking another national honor following its designation as a National Strategic Project (PSN). The award was jointly conferred after multi-round on-site inspections and evaluations by multiple ministries, including the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, and the Police Commission, signifying the Indonesian government's high recognition of IPIP's construction and operational capabilities.
As an Indonesian National Strategic Project (PSN), IPIP is a key participant in Indonesia's economic pillar industries, linked to multiple national development plans. The park hosts well-known multinational corporations, representing the local international image and driving regional economic growth. The construction of overseas industrial parks relies on stable business environments and favorable social/security guarantees.
The OVNI honor elevates IPIP to a priority protection object for the national government, entitling it to "national security-level" treatment. This includes comprehensive support in infrastructure, emergency response, and legal protection. In major disasters, operations resume with priority, and the area implements zoned control for silent operation—ensuring continuous production and minimizing uncertainties.
