Enterprises should systematically consider the impact of raw material selection, production, sales, use, recycling, treatment and other links on the resource environment at the product design and development stage according to the concept of the whole life cycle, so that products consume the least energy and resource and cause the least impact on the ecological environment for maximum renewable rate.

Since its establishment, Chengdu B&M has always adhered to green and low-carbon development, actively played a leading role in the industry, actively integrated itself into the national "dual carbon" strategic layout, continued to optimize its product design, manufacturing process, management mode and other aspects, and was included in the National Green Factory List in 2021. In 2022, Chengdu B&M focused on green development, and carried out all-round upgrading and transformation throughout its overall production line, enabling green development with digital technology; actively promoted the "six integration" development mode of short-range process, large-scale equipment, automatic production line, intelligent manufacturing, digital operation, and industry greenization, actively explored the path to reduce carbon emissions throughout the life cycle of products with the whole industry chain, achieved ultra-low emissions in the same industry and created the world's first "zero carbon factory" in the cathode material industry.

The award of the National Green Design Product further demonstrates the Company's strong strength and great potential in the field of green development, and is an important achievement of Chengdu B&M in the green development path.
