From 5 September 2023 to 8 September 2023, the Audit and Supervision Center paid a field visit to Jiangsu Huayou Energy and jointly carried out integrity grid construction activities with the local comprehensive management department.

Project entry meeting

On 5 September, the project entry meeting was successfully held in the conference room of Jiangsu Huayou Energy. General Manager of the Audit and Supervision Centre, Xi Hong, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Huayou Energy, Qian Long, and the main cadres of the company participated in the meeting.

Firstly, the cadres of Jiangsu Huayou Energy signed the integrity oath on the exhibition board, writing down a firm determination and responsibility.

In the second session of the project entry meeting, Xi Hong, general manager of the Audit and Supervision Centre, delivered a speech, mentioning that high-pressure anti-corruption campaign continues to advance in the country, and our company is also improving the construction of the integrity system. Our goal is to build a fair and transparent environment to help the company's rapid development.

Gao Jie, an auditor of the Audit and Supervision Centre, introduced the background and time planning of the integrity grid construction activities, to ensure that the personnel present had a clear and intuitive understanding of the project.

Qian Long, deputy general manager of Jiangsu Huayou Energy, stated in his speech that integrity is the responsibility of cadres. We should take integrity as the priority, enhance the awareness of responsibility, and continuously strengthen self-examination and self-correction, so as to build the bottom line for the sustainable development of the company.

Zhao Yan, Deputy Director of the Supervision Department, gave a lecture on the theme of "Integrity and Honesty, Huayou's Core Value", which emphasized that integrity is the bottom line of Huayou's employees and an important reason for Huayou's long-term leading position in the industry.

Finally, the cadres present took a solemn oath to express their determination and confidence in keeping the bottom line. Taking the project entry meeting as a new starting point, Jiangsu Huayou Energy's integrity grid construction activities will be carried out in an orderly manner, which will help promote the work in accordance with the law and ensure that the power will not be abused, funds will not be misappropriated, and resources will not be wasted.

Symposium

During the project, the Audit and Supervision Center, in conjunction with the comprehensive management department of Jiangsu Huayou Energy, organised a face-to-face forum between the business department and the audit department. At the meeting, the business department introduced the department profile, business risks, risk control measures, and business coordination & decisions, showing the results of self-inspection and self-correction. Then both parties conduct deep communication and analysis on how to strengthen the connection and cooperation between business and audit departments, as well as the problems and solutions in the current process.

In order to respond positively to the integrity grid construction project, suppliers of Jiangsu Huayou Energy came to the site to participate in the forum and have face-to-face communication with members of the project. At the meeting, the propaganda on "Sunshine Procurement, Honesty Huayou" was carried out. The suppliers further understood Huayou's regulations and the construction of the honesty system and expressed that they would comply with the rules and regulations, enhance mutual trust, and carry out business in strict accordance with the contract.     

Cultural Activities

During Jiangsu Huayou Energy's integrity grid construction project, the Audit and Supervision Center also organised a series of thematic cultural activities, enriching the way of integrity campaigns by placing promotional posters, watching the anti-corruption education film Zero Tolerance and conducting the propaganda of holding on the bottom line and red line.

Jiangsu Huayou Energy's integrity grid construction activity is the third station of the Audit and Supervision Centre's integrity grid deepening project this year. Through field visits, information sharing, reflection and summary, the integrity grid construction activity is moving towards refinement in the future. The Audit and Supervision Centre will continue to promote this project, and help to create a fair and upright working atmosphere for the high-quality development of the company.
